Learning programming is not very different from learning anything else. Take the course, don't be afraid to take it slow or to review as many times as needed, and practice.

Speaking of practice, I encourage you to take advantage of the Code Playground in SoloLearn. It's pretty easy to find from the website version and is accessible via the curly braces on the app version. Tap the green circle with the plus sign to add a new project, then select the project type. Remember to save your work.
