Can Mods Take down Accounts?

Shudarshan Rai 👑 for a period of time Q&A was being spammed with thousands of Korean links by many accounts that were obviously generated programmatically. At the time, mods lacked any power to remove accounts. Heck, we could barely remove posts (we needed three reports from mods on a post for it to be deleted). SoloLearn since then has provided us the proper tools to do our job, and I commend them for that. Though I worry about our effectiveness for a certian future feature they have planned.

I can.

Paul Grasser I can "deactivate" an account. I've never used it though. The only case where I think I would without warning would be if it was mass spamming in a robotic manner (like the Korean spammer bots about over a year ago). Otherwise it'd be with a lot of warning. I'm pretty sure other mods have used the power on evil-doers.

Paul Grasser I wouldn't know. My personal guess is within 4 months. But who knows, could be tommorow, could be next year. They haven't told us.

Not directly I think, but they report it and SL team takes it down if they see fit.
