Online Coding Bootcamp

I want to attend a coding bootcamp, however the closest one to me would be a 2 hr commute daily. Has anyone attended a online coding bootcamp? Is it more difficult? I have taken online college courses online and I did fairly well. Thanks in advance for information!

I haven't attended a boot camp myself but talked a lot with those who did. and they'd never ever replace a live bc by an internet one. they say nothing replaces a motivating atmosphere, working in real life environment and competing with usually smart people who have the same goal. nothing replaces a real life instructor who shows the good practices hard to find online and peers who keep you working 12/24/6/7 so as not to stay behind. when one's really good some bc provide job openings. there are lots of pros and cons. one needs a clean schedule for 3 to 6 months, and has to make a deep research among alumni to see whether a given bc is worth the huge effort. to fully profit from a bc one needs to already have some fundamentals - going there to learn from zero is a waste of time, money and effort. from this perspective a two hours travel is nothing. take a bus or a train to work during that time. a really good bc it's like a Seals' hell week - but lasts from 3 to 6 months. that's how I think about it.

Flatiron School has a free online boot camp prep class. They have live chat if you have questions. It will give you a chance to see if you like that sort of learning.
