As you know there are many properties in css.It is almost impossible to learn each of them by heart.And even if you do it somehow ,there is no way without practice that you will know what each property does.
So Start from the very basic properties and try and practice them by coding it and seeing what each of the property does .
You will notice how easy it to remember a property once you know what it does and how it works.
Once you think you are done with the basic properties take up a mini project let it be something very simple like a introduction about yourself or image with some description .
Mini projects are always a great way to learn.
