Hybrid frameworks are good but the problem is you lose some of the functionality within the different platforms. I would specialize in one and then maybe do cross platform. I personally recommend iOS because despite android having a larger market the iOS side makes over 80% of the market share. In other words apple users tend to be a lot more willing to spend money on apps.

Why not do both? If you use any of the native app frameworks its gonna be annoying to switch platforms because you would have to learn a whole new framework and language, ios native framework uses swift and android studio uses java. Learn C# and practice Xamarin which is a hybrid framework, by doing that you can upload the finished app on both Ios and Android Playstores. If you dont want to start over, go with ios if you are most comfy in swift or android if you are more comfy in java.
