Which best programming language you should first learn when your are beginer

I'd say Python because it is really easy to pick up (I assume you have the choice). Well, also because it's my favorite language, but anyway... The fact that everything is done by you makes your code even more error prone than if you did the same thing in an other language, actually. Try mastering a language, that's a real advice. Once you know all the concepts of a language, you can translate easily (ONLY the most basic things) between languages. @Jamal: You are giving a beginner possibly the worst advice you could ever give...

Agree with Amaras - Python or Ruby is the best choice for first programming language. They both are popular, powerful and relatively easy to study. Between them I would choose Python, but it is a matter of preference.

i guess at first you have to learn c or c++ because it doesn't depend on ready classes and these stuffs .. everything is done by you
