Is there anybody here who started programming because of a change of career?
If so, did you succeed? Would you do it again? I personally started programming because I was just curious to learn something useful and not waste my time, but I'm not sure if I would be ready to do the next step and make it a full-time job (if I could).

I actually started programming after I couldn't get admission to do Journalism in the university. One uncle of mine made me to reapply the following year for Information Technology. And that was my turning point. And I have NEVER REGRETTED being in the field.

A SMALL bORING STORY
a boy who's age was 15 he just learned Html(web components) and started playing with it. unfortunately his father died and he was alone with help of natives he got room to stay and he had forced to work and losted his phone at works
and @ the age of 18 he came up with idea where he thought why not to create a website for his hotel to book a bunch of seats under reservation
he first created everything and showed up to his manager
and BOOM manager accepted it and what was interesting is they got huge demand under reservation of seats .
hotel management introduced new group of website developers
and the boy who played a major role is the captain of that group.
My suggestion if it time wasting don't go for that but firstly don't lost your patience
ex:-there are so many questions I can answer and get followers/likes/best-answer
why I am answering this question
am I wasting time? :Yes.
but it's make me happier why engage with others and trying to help as much as I can,
sry for my Eng
