Do you donate if you use free media for your projects?

Question

sounds, music and free images are much in the cloud.
Besides illegal downloads one can find high quality legal sources.
Sometimes we are asked to donate a little amount
for it. Wikipedia and fma and sound databases.
Did u ever donate some pennys?

Anything that was free and also helped me in some way, I would definitely donate.

If you don't have the greens to do it, you can always donate through a different kind of effort as well. Moderating or contributing resource, for instance.

The subject should have been do donate, if i see that a given tool helped me and developer helped me with changes when requested, i end up donating as a gesture of thankfulness.

Wish I could. I don't have a bank account yet so can't. I really wanted to donate some of the apps I use in android and for desktop but feel sad for not being able to. But I will once I get a credit card😊.

I donated 5€ to Wikipedia last year. Wikipedia helped me through school, it helps me with my studies, I consult it for information everyday.

Few days later I read the comment "I was so drunk last night that I donated 1€ to Wikipedia" and people laughed about it. It made me sick.

Certainly yes, if it gives real help in learning. I am even ready to share my sources of knowledge in order to make the project better. From a financial point of view, I use paid programs.
