Which language should I start with?

Question

28yo who loves the idea of programming but not sure which language to learn and (commit to). Did want to learn web development but now think I should do java, python or Swift. I don’t know what I want to do with coding yet but I’d like some career out of it. I don’t have time for school since I work a lot. I’ve been trying on and off for a few years but don’t want to delay anything any longer. Did want to for games but I don’t think I’m smart enough to code for games or apps in general. Any help would be great. Please help.

Use the search bar provided. I'd personally suggest Python as main course and Web langs as side dishes.

C/C++/C# are known for graphics, gaming and Arduino(IoT). Python has pygame for basic gaming, equally efficient as C family, and has Raspberry pi which is better than Arduino in many ways.
Java is known for GUI, web servlets, Android, etc. Python is equally good at first 2 and u can make android in python using Kivi.
Python can also do data science, AI, ML, web programming(django), etc.

so if i get this right, in a way python can do just about all c family and java can in its single language?

Yup. It's a little slower and not exactly as good as others in their expertise, but it'll reach that point in few years.
