Does anybody know how to do coding on a module

in My recent computer paper I recieved a question of on the coding on a module I did searched on the web to find the solutions and how to solve if next time I see them but I didn't quite understood it does anybody know how to do it

The solutions might (!) be A, A, C, A, D, B, A, 42, A. But without seeing the actual assignment this is more or less just a wild guess
