Started learning C++, should i continue?

Question

Recently i started learning bit by bit C++, that is kinda interesting for me, bc it allows you to create something good from basic concepts, for example i wanna build some sort of program, which will help me test my knowledge of different formulas (peak of imagination is stats).But I don't have much free time for it, and I don't know, maybe I am doing something wrong, because maybe it is too hard to learn, or i don't get anything from it (I am now aimed in chemistry area, but hey, most of the develops in science is made in areas where 2 or more different sciences collide).

Many successful scientists can also program. It is helpful if you can write programs to simulate processes or evaluate data yourself.

The good thing about the assignments here is that their difficulties differ a lot; you can choose your own perfect workout.

At my point everything is understandable, except for classes.Can't understand them now, gotta spend a few hours to know them better

Have you tried to write any codes of your own yet?

I wrote one code which calculates roots from a thing ax^2+bx+c=0, with unput of numbers a, b, c, couldn't invent any better task to code

A programming language is similar to other languages in the way that you need to practice it a lot to become fluent.

Here on Sololearn you can find a long list of 'assignments' that you can do; these will help you develop that fluency.

And then you will gradually see more ways to apply what you've learned. You'll start to think in code.
