What was asked of you to do are covered in the lesson, a glance back to re-read will help you to pass the quiz, so don't hesitate to review the subject you don't yet understand : )

Normally a question like that would be impossible to answer because you don't say what you are trying to get or even what language you are using. I had to look at your profile to see what language you are learning and then looked through the lessons to see what question you were referring to. Be kind to the people trying to help and give more details in your questions ;) If you look at the lesson page just before the quiz page, you will see the backslash (\) is discussed as a method of putting characters like quotes into strings. The quiz asks for a code that will make a string containing ". I think the question could have been clearer and said create a a string that IS a double quote rather than one that CONTAINS a double quote. If you want to make a string that is a double quote, you could use '"' (a double quote surrounded by single quotes), but since that isn't an option, you would use "\"", i.e. fill in the blanks with \". Hope this helps.
