How to code successfully?

How to code successfully? I think, that is the main question in programming, especially for newbies just like me.

For my opinion, key for successful coding is great imagination of desired result, what I want to have in the end. To do this better, take a piece of paper a pencil and divide your task for some modules, like same tasks, but smaller. After that, try to cope them in order. Write a decision of all tasks on a paper, how you will do. At last, if you have set of subtasks, and their solutions, you can boldly code! The way, a have described, can help you avoid many obstacles in debugging!

To code successfully you actually don't need anything besides interest in coding and troubleproof logical thinking. All the rest will come by itself.
