Is there any free database hosting system for mysql like we have mlab for MongoDB ???

I wish to host my laravel project on heroku and for that I need a remote MySQL database and thus I wish to know there is any service which I can use just like mlab which provides a free remote database for mongodb.

Personally I would be surprised (+interested) if anyone hosts MongoDB for free (its name comes from the word "humongous" and...while storage is cheap...it really does get very large, very fast).

To avoid being completely unhelpful, you ~could~ use a laptop / PC and host it yourself using a "dynamic DNS" service to identify your computer on the Internet automatically. These services are often free, and you just run a client that updates your address every so often.
~ Just a thought (not saying it's the best one).
