Why not use JavaScript/Node.js as a language for data analysis or machine learning!?

Thank you for your quick response to my question, but I really want to know why Python is better than for that? -in a different way to illustrate- I'm asking why JavaScript is not optimized to handle data analysis. Am I being clear? Daniel Dufek

Python is more used in Scientific Communities that make research in Artificial Intelligence Algorithms. In my knowledge, JavaScript is NOT the academic language compared to Python adoptions in various scientific communities. That may be the main reason.

You could but other languages are more suitable. i guess you wouldnt do as good as with python in terms of processing a lot of data

python has a lot of libraries for that purpose and one point to mention might be implementation speed. i guess if you would create a framework which is as comprehensive as it is in the python world, you could achieve the same
