Code Playground Can't save

Question

Sometimes, when I am making a code on Code Playground, and click on the save button, it takes forever to save and it never saves. So I would have to reload the page every time and lose progress. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

The "easy" fix would be to maybe copy the entire code before pressing the button. It happens to me all the time when I'm posting answers. Do you use it in web or in app?

This problem occurred to me in Sololearn web.
Its better you keep on saving after making small modifications because even it gets stuck , only a small portion of your code is lost

I never remember to copy my code before hitting the save button. This is what I do when I get stuck with the saving loader: right click on the loader box, and select Inspect. In the new tray that opens, you'd be able to find something like <div class="loadingOverlay loading">. Right click that element, and delete. Now you'd be able to copy what you have written so far. Reload the page, paste it back, and try saving again. Repeat if problem persists. (I think even reloading may not be necessary, just hitting Save again might work--but I am unable to test that theory right now.)

There may be one more thing that you can do... I did it only once with a post and it worked, I'm not sure how would it behave with codes. I have doubled tabs in Firefox and there was my post intact in the other tab. I don't know if it's worth trying...

Every time you make modification on your code, save it regularly.

If it is to no avail, I will copy the codes into clipboard and save it in Whatsapp for temporary. Every time we need the code, just copy from that place😉

Connexions with SL servers regurlarly fails both on app and web site ^^
On app, that's not really important, as you will able to attempt again (and again, and again, and again... sometimes), but on web site that's more annonying, as you cannot access the page content anymore as the dialog box and layer on top prevent any action and never close (there are some tricky ways to remove them anyway, but not simply, all the more if you're on a mobile device).

As stated by dρlυѕρlυѕ, the minimum care is to remember to copy-paste all the code before attempting to save, and/or keep a fresh copy in another tab :P

This also occurred to, maybe it’s internet problems or because you make a lot of modifications=stuck for a long time before save: time around 5 minutes(sad) or when you created you code, you used a lot of space and it takes longer to save.

Do you have an unstable internet connection? With the app, if you are not online then it won't save. Not sure if it's the same when using the website but I would think so. So if your connection is out or too slow when you try to save it, that could be causing the problem.

As an uncomfortable sidenote for contributors, posting a response via the web version of the platform, also causes such annoying issue from time to time and IFF, for any reason, the sender forget to copy the entire time-consuming and hardly-thought response to the clipboard, s/he most certainly ends up with a sudden rise in the blood pressure and possibly a massive heart attack due to the psychological effect of losing the post and the grueling rework!
