It depends.
If you want to make eshop with article based (like a blog) website side by side, its better Wordpress with Woocomerce.

But Woocomerce have some limits. If you would like to make bigscale eshop (only) maybe Shopify is right choice.

But, still depends. I made some eshop in both. Woocomerce is more simply, better organized, faster to achiev eshop and you will smoothly produce some blog text.

Shopify has more plugins which can make your eshop more complex, detail, and other stuff.

Wordpress with woocomerce will be simpliest choice if you never develop eshop before.
