Like button doesn't work on local file 🤔😕

Hi, i have to implement a like button on a local html file without xamp. I tried it and i found that i only works on a website not on a local file. I cant figure out how :/

Hi Toni Isotalo, i've never heard of a downgrade error. I think it has something to do with the file not beeing able to communicate with other websites. I think my teacher might be using an old type of facebook like button.

What website?
If you are using facebook javascript api, it could be a downgrade error.
