There are thousands of books... good books out there. But you can start by checking the Documentation section in the official page of Python.

If you're looking for an App... well... is there any other better than this one? xD

It depends of the device you own. If you have Android try the QPython3 so you can always have the Python console in your pocket whenever you want to practice or try some new ideas.
