What is the most stable java version in 2019

Hi! What is the most stable/best java version in 2019. I found that oracle has dropped support 9 and 10. But what about 8 and 11. Is 8 better or stable than 11? And finally what will be the best version of java for development purposes

Go to java.com. The website offers you to download the latest stable version by default.

8 is sill the mostly used. Not all populair frameworks and libraries are configured to be running/modular on java 11 so far.

Currently 8 and 11 for oracle. There also is openjdk which is based on 8. Since oracle will be going to not be free later 11 is stil uncertain since there is no wide adoption. And the to stay free openjdk has no plans of implementing the modular like oracle 11 options so far.
