Should I continue studying JAVA and C simultaneously ?

Question

Currently I'm studying C as it is part of my University syllabus, but recently I developed interest in JAVA. Should I leave JAVA or study both simultaneously.
Currently I have basic concepts of C like control statements, functions, array and pointers.
Yesterday I finished basic concepts of java through SOLO LEARN CODE WITH JAVA.
Should I continue JAVA along with C or leave it ?

I suggest learning C# or Java, because the two languages are similar in syntax!
