PHP vs Ruby on Rails ...?

Question

I'm making a commercial site but I'm not sure whether to use php or ROR or Python ......anybody can help ?

As a person who knows only PHP from the three, I suggest PHP.

Use Php : Ror and Python ( Django ) are amazing, but finding host compliant for your project isn't as easy as for Php ^^ ( which is provided everywhere :P )

@visph godaddy , heroku and most supports ROR or Python now

I don't said there's no hosts for others than Php, just the choice is more tight ;)
However, I tend to consider that Php is less attractive than others new challengers...

You can also run your own production environment if you know how to install and setup all that is needed. And if you're willing to take care of updates and security.
