Hacking using JS?

I'm not really interested in learning how to hack, I'm just curious... I know you can learn hacking using Python, but is it possible to hack using JavaScript?

Yes, people have used js to insert malicious code in websites to mine bitcoin and other cryptocurrency and used it to intercept people's keystrokes. Hacking is subverting or hijacking something by making it do something else other than what it normally does.
