MySQL installer cant detect visual studio

Question

I am trying to install MySQL and at the check requirement stage, it's saying, a product have failing requirement....the requirement at the down side says VS studio 12,13,15 or 17 must be installe. The problem now is that I have VS 2017, I have also downloaded MySQL for visual studio, still not working.

official mysql installer doesn't require visual studio

Toni Isotalo I downloaded the file from Dev.mysql... the community file, I'm thinking to just ignore it and go on with the installation
