Why does this happen?

When I press and hold the SoloLearn app icon I get (in addition to the standard three options of uninstall, add to home screen and select) a number of smaller vertically arranged icons, like shortcuts - one of them being of another user's profile page(?)!

Interesting. Yes it does have a shortcut to a profile I viewed, as well as some other things. How would I remove it?
