Well, of course there are some basic prerequisites like a good level of logical reasonning that can help you save some time and energy. But the best way to become a great web developper/programmer is practicing and testing your knowledge

1) should be able to reverse engineer code 2) able to learn quickly and effectively 3) know the five pillars of web dev=html, css, js, php/node, sql/other db. 4) should know some frameworks=sass, scss, angular/ react 5) good knowledge of higher order concepts=design patterns, algorithms and data structures 6) know your tools in and out=browser devtools, ide plugins etc 7) should have well organised code, comments and file structures 8) know version control=github

Only practice. If you complete learning html and css then you have some project using html and css.you have to gain the skills of designing a modren website. Thus you will be a good developer.🙌🙌🙌🙌

Know what u want to do with it..then learn with precision ..dont jump all over languages pick your area and practice...did i say pay,.. well invest on tutorials its the easiest way out...
