C++ is generally not recommended as it can get advanced really fast. This will cause many beginners to get put off, Java and Python are more easily learned. Schools usually start of with phyton as it's a very easy language syntax wise. However if you feel like starting off the hard way C++ won't disappoint you. It's a powerful language. The addendum is also that starting off with a language that is considered difficult is that is can create bad programmers when they don't understand the concept of basic programming logic and computation. You won't buy a car before you know how to turn.

First you have to decide your goal or aim about your carrier.. Its not necessary you should know all languages.. Instead become Master in one of the languages.. C++ and Java are good options.

First you must know that there are 2 kinds of programming languages :web programming & desktop programming if you want to be a web developers you better start with HTML otherwise you can start with Python. one of colleagues alwayse said: "Python is not a programming language it's English language!!! " Or you can just start with C (not C++) as I did! it's truly mother of all languages. if you are done with that, then you will have no problem with the others!
