Html is most important because you define everything but css is important for designing so both is important for a good web site 😊

For websites, html is the bare bones. You can generate a web page using different programming languages, but they still have to generate html code, so html would be the most important. Css is a nice clean way to do formatting of the page, but you can make a web page with no css.

HTML and CSS goes hand in hand. After coding in HTML you need to beautify the website using CSS hence both are equally important.

I think that if you want create a web site then study html. HTML is most important. With the time, complexity and need for organization and look and feel more elegant your go naturaly see CSS importance. CSS remove formating of HTML for files of style. HTML help understand CSS. I think this for while. I hope helpful. Sorry my english.

HTML5 should deliver content that is understable for each agent, that included browsers, screen readers,... CSS Will help you styling the content to be displayed mainly on screen, although other media types like print are also available.

HTML is important because you define everything in it but CSS is important for styling so both are important and are complementary to each other...one completea the other
