New to programming, any suggestions where to start? Not yet sure what job opportunities I would like to pursue.

I thought Python when I first started. Fairly easy through Sololearn, but now that I am in college, they had us start with C++. I am a non matriculated student right now paying out of pocket, but will be using my GI Bill to pursue a Bachelor's in Computer Information Tech, so I can eventually move into a cyber security job. But im still years away from that. So, moral of the rambling above, I'd say c++, just to get a basic understanding of a coding language, then once you know one, I hear the rest are fairly easy to pick up
