Where can I find free Python exercises/projects that can extend my practical knowledge?
I want to be able to put the theory I've picked up in this app to attempt to solve practical problems. I need where to find these kinds of problems/exercises, without cost hopefully.

There are many challenge websites you can use to practice. In most of them, the difficulty ranges from complete beginner to expert, so you probably will find exercises to solve regardless of your level.
Here are some exercise websites I have used myself:
1) Codewars (https://codewars.com)
2) Edabit (https://edabit.com)
3) HackerRank (https://hackerrank.com)
EDIT: Joseph Agha I saw in your other question that you are interested in getting hired. Then you could also try CodeSignal (https://codesignal.com). It is a platform where users can get contacted by company recruiters and even get hired. Recruiters can see various kinds of information about users, including skills, work experience, etc. Apart from some conventional exercises in the 'Arcade' section, there are also the 'Interview Practice', 'Daily Challenges' and 'Tournaments' sections. Finally, there are 'Company Challenges' which are similar to problems employees at various companies (Google, Uber, etc) have to deal with.
