Statistics regarding amount of programmers in the world:

"According to IDC's Worldwide Software Developer and ICT-Skilled Worker Estimates, 18.5 million in 2014 (including ~7.5m hobbyists). This is supported by Evans Data's Global Developer Population and Demographic Study, quoting 18.2 million."

So you can imagine, if each programmer develops 5 programs at average, you multiply 18 mil by 5.
