Also there is a nice IDE for android app called "TERMINAL IDE BY SPARTACUS REX". you can create c, c++ and java apps in your phone, also there are plenty of demo apps there and instructions for compilation of your apps.

koala to be honest i don't know exactly apps made from it but what i know is there is a place of publicly shared projects in it and it's over 2000+ projects ! ... It has almost all proprieties of an IDE of a computer, events button audio images ... And it depends now in creativity for building an interesting apps or games !

You can do it through a cloud , so you will have all soft and hard ressources to work very smoothly. You can also help yourself connecting a key board (bleuetooth...) and a bigger screen to your phone.

Okay hey there guys and girls.

I want to share some experiences about these applications to make your own applications.

I have tried to use these applications like Sketchware, create your own app by Appypie, Apper, Mimo, Grasshopper, Encode, Enki...

They all promised either easy learning to code with my smartphone, or to be able to make my own applications with my smartphone.
And failed, in my opinion.

Coding isn't easy, and I agree with one of the earlier responses that it's a huge goal to code a full size apps with my smartphone.

But I'm determined to make applications with my Nokia 6.

I'm currently learning Java in here to be able to use the Aide android development application.
Aide is looking to offer application making with a small payment, but you need to know Java.

I can tell you for instance that Mimo promises to let you make apps with my smartphone. But stops your studies in coding, and demands that we install Android studio in a computer.

While you can, it is a horrible idea! Applications on PC, like Android Studio, will allow you to develop an app much faster. Plus, they give you the ability to emulate many differ kinds of phones for testing.

I liked the Grasshopper app, it's teaching us JavaScript in a funnier way than Sololearn.

It's just that when I graduated from the advanced JavaScript lessons, they directs you to go take courses in other websites.
I turn away from those, because they require computers with their mouses.
Smartphone are horrible with sites with mouse work.

I should also say that I have talked with Google support team members.
I was very welcomed to their app making services, but they too lack to offer smartphone operated website tools.

There are no other applications with discussion forums like this.

And this Aide app..

They say that you can come in without any knowledge of coding skills, but they are worse than I've seen.
They offer Java lessons, but it's just copying Java codes.
There's no explanations, or hints or forums on the app where to find answers.

They had a good discussion group in Google plus, but they closed it just a few days ago.

The reason why I'm still with Aide, is that it's the only one that you see the whole code at all times. And it looks like a platform that I finally can make app's with my phone.

Those are the usual options, but I have been accustomed to pinching my screen.
And gotten used to a sore thumb.

And I absolutely love smartphones and their capabilities. And speeds, and simplicities of use, and sizes, and multitude of apps.

And I do most of my code learning sitting down or lieing down. I'm a bus driver, and I have turned to Sololearn on a bus terminal waiting for the busline to begin.
And I found this Spotify podcast of Java programming language, so I also listed to a code teacher while I drive to or at work.

I remember using Sketchware some time ago.

I didn't know much about coding. And I remember that I had to ask even basic questions about things.
Like what does those different blocks mean?

I left Sketchware, because of too much programming should have been learned.
I asked a friend of mine to look at one of the Sketchware's commands.
He said that he recognised at least several programming languages commands used there.
That frightened me.

And that lead me to come to Sololearn the first time.

In my own opinion, the world's coder's get frustrated and fall to use the computers.

It's okay for those coders, but I'm not a quitter.

And there are so few good apps made with smartphone, so there's an opportunity here.

And as I said in my response above, that the first page of Google is filled with simple game videos and comments to "go use your computers".

I see this as an opportunity for you and I, in the Sololearn community. Could we go through?
