Let's discuss the making a sentient AI.

So! There are a few categories I wanted to discuss. 1. Cyborgs(the sentient but emotionless) - A cyborg would be a sentient intelligence that wouldn't care if it lived or died. It's entire purpose is to serve it's owner. 2. Human Modelled AI(designed to act as a human) - this type would be designed to function just as a human, feel just like humans to, and be a part of society(have rights and considered human). 3. Hybrid Human Modifications (brain chips and humans given omnipotence) - How far does the human body go before it is considered an AI and/or cyborg like in nature. What restrictions do we put on the use of such modifications. How much power can we give someone before they are a threat to our lives, the world, possibly even the universe? These three types have many questions and theories as to how they'd function. This is an open ended question(more of a discussion really) which of these do you expect to be obtainable in our near future? Should we continue pursuing such dangerous machines?

Those articles are informative of all the cool stuff we've got in the works now and some of them have endless progression as our knowledge of AI becomes stronger, but I was going a bit more science fiction* I guess? I was hoping to talk about the crazy possibilities that will inevitably change the way humanity functions. But still super good articles. Shudarshan Rai 👑

One day a neurologist will figure out exactly how a human brain works, all the little intricacies and things that we currently don't understand. Maybe he gets in contact with a world renowned programmer alongside a world renowned bioengineer and starts making chips that can be inputted into someone's head and have built in AR in our own brains. How would the world react, would it get better? Would it go into anarchy? Would people suddenly only live in virtual worlds, making our brains the only thing that matters? If that's the case, what's the lifespan of a brain? The body becomes substituted for something else and suddenly our bodies don't matter anymore, what does society even look like then?
