If someone grants me a best answer in Q and A and then takes it away, do I gain and then lose the same number of XP?

E.g. +15xp -15xp

Lol Louis. I had no idea mods could mark their own answers as best. I'm assuming you marked your own as best for the test 😂😂😂. This seems to be a perk that we regular users don't have.

Yes, you do. It's +10 for the best answer and additionally +1 for every upvote. If the best answer mark is deleted or goes to another answer you lose the same amount you gained before.

Yes, that's the way it is. No xps for regular answers.

Tashi N does the +1xp for every upvote only apply to best answers? Do regular answers not get +1xp for upvotes?

What a about own answers in own questions? I can mark it as best but I don't know if I would gain xp. I never tried it but sometimes I see users who did that.

Preston Lanteri if you are writing your own code and not an example in a lesson you may have to temporarily close the lesson to get to code playground and vice versa. I don't know a way to keep multiple windows of the same app open on mobile.

Sonic Denise Roßberg For educational purposes. Mark your own as best and report on the outcome. You can restore the best after that.

Louis My xp did not change. Thats good to know. Otherwise it would be a strange lifehack and maybe a lot of work for the mods.

Sonic Yes for the test I did, but I took the best mark away. I assumed you remarked it as best but l wasnt sure so I took it away again. I rarely use it, but the Idea is that if someone answers the question the best, and the original Question asker does not mark one, you can mark the best answer as best. But I never use it on myself.

Lifehack: If you use your web browser on mobile to access your code in the Code Playground, the app will layer it over whatever part of the app you had up (the lesson, in this case). The only drawback is that when you use the back arrow to view the lesson screen, the top layer (the Code Playground, in this case) would clear, so it's not great for bi-directional navigation. By the way, welcome to the platform! The question seems a tad divergent from the original post. If you have your own question, feel free to start your own thread. Here are some tips you may find useful: https://www.sololearn.com/Blog/38/8-simple-rules-to-get-help-from-the-community/ I hope this helps!

Hello, I am just starting the learning process and have added the app to my phone. While I'm in the lesson how do I pull up the code playground freely while doing the python lessons?
