(0 OR 0) = 0
(1 OR 1) AND (1 OR 0) AND (0 OR 1) = 1

AND OR

1 - 0 0 1 - 0 1
0 - 1 0 0 - 1 1
1 - 1 1 1 - 1 1

When you understand AND and OR now NOT and NOT IN means more meanful

WHERE X NOT true

WHERE values NOT IN (x,y,z)
