You can be a POS Software Developer. They code in C, and C programmers are hard to find these days due to the language's unpopularity, so there's a future for C programmers. Don't worry too much about what others say. There's an entire industry in POS terminals.

Specifically in C, I don’t think there is a career. because the entire industry is based on OOPs concepts. Be it any language JAVA, Ruby, Python, C++ etc, all are object oriented. if you can learn new language then try to learn java, then you will get immense opportunities. Otherwise you always have an option to teach C to school/college going students! or just learn algorithms and data structure in such a way that you can apply them in competitive coding and start competing in online contests and win prizes. If you can raise your level just by self learning then you may get great job opportunities from companies like Google, Directi etc. thanks for reading!

rudolph flash .. It's Cool too..But apart from your friend..how many C developers have you come accross?.. Rare right?.. Meaning..Most people in the programming world prefer using other programming languages instead of C😉 Think about it
