How can we contribute a little for stopping the pollution rise using our codes?
Attention programmers!!

Coding isn't something I would correlate with pollution rise. I don't think coding can help reduce, unless maybe you make a website that spreads awareness in a way no others have.
Otherwise it's up to corporate.

Fun fact: While everyone is being told to cut down greenhouse emissions and stuff, corporate still makes up much much more greenhouse gases that the residentials combined. Targeting big corporations will do a better job.

Just create a Responsive and Heart Touching Poster on it.
This might be Good.
BTW Prometheus (🎂 in 1 day) I agree with your Statements.

Put subliminal messages about climate change in your code every now and then. Or simply donate some of your earnings to organizations which are already doing something about it, money really keeps them going greener and greener

We can code for our arduino in a machine with toxic gas detectors, combinations etc to check the air quality index of a particular area ..

Or in future we code for a machine to absorb the polluted air ..something with the use of air absorbents..its possible if we try..

Write less code. Less code and fewer programmers means fewer computers that consume power generated by pollution generating power plants.

Nicolas Sanson so more optimised codes means less computer power to run it =less pollution.

You can write more optimized code. For example, try to use more suitable algorithms, depending of your data structure. You will find performance comparison on the following link : http://bigocheatsheet.com/
