Is the PHP code sandbox broken?

I keep getting the message "Check your Internet connection.." when trying to run PHP code. The syntax highlighting seems to be borked as well...

Ok. This behaviour is only when I use the Android Sololearn app, whether on my phone or on a Chromebook. Also, it is only broken when I am trying to run saved code, the 'try it yourself' snippets in the lessons are working as expected...
