Yes. To put it into perspective, it's been around since the late 70s/mid-80s and it's still widely used and popular; it's capable of more than many languages are. Its overall versatility makes it stand the test of time and I don't see it disappearing anytime soon.

It's still one of the fastest languages though not too beginner friendly.

C++ 14 doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. It's already a powerful language, and time cannot affect it's power
