For me it is mostly practice and by doing that you will memorize many functions that you may need but I think it depends on the effort and time you dedicate to it.

one good answer it do more code with javascript , if you stack with something google it , next time you will have it in minde, this way you will use more function and you will remember them in your futur project and with every project you will feel faster then before ,.. with practice you will became a coder ;)
