My codes never appear in hot-today category in the code playground

Question

None of my codes have ever appeared in the hot-today category. Can anyone explain how Sololearn selects code to be put in that category?

Шащи Ранжан and laura I doubt . I had about 15 upvotes on one of my codes in about an hour. But my code didn't show up, but I saw many hot-today codes with just a single upvote! In that case it's not about likes, upvotes or following

• It is sorted according to Number of upvotes .....

hot today...is because it is based on the number of likes... probably within a given time frame of a day
