Hello. I wanted to ask is Java and JavaScript same programming language? And do I need to know both of them?

they have things in common just like any other languages
but they are not the same language or even related to each other
if you wanna become an android developer learn java
if you wanna become front-end web developer go with JS
however you can make mobile apps with JS using a framework.
there are different frameworks to make mobile apps using JS

salar vahidi thanks bro. I want to become android developer and I started learning Java. And when I finish Java I think I will learn Kotlin because I have cousin who is android developer and siad that Kotlin is more simple than Java.

yeah Android Studio is the best option to make android apps and it uses Java and Kotlin. stick to that and don't give up
I will be learning Kotlin too(just like many android developers nowadays) after I got familiar with making android apps using Java
