ALI MAHAMAT ABAKAR for programming you doesn't need to be great in the mathematics but you should have some knowledge about formula and theorem which can help you in logic development. Like discrete mathematics, statics and probability, engineering mathematics etc which contains some good logic which can help in programming concept data science and the artificial intelligence and machine learning need many mathematical operations and to train all data sets and all data compression algorithm needs to be good knowledge of mathematics as well as graphic design and game design needed much work over mathematical formulas. https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/209859/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/351042/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1539193/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1791621/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/96845/?ref=app

You're going to need a hell of a mathematical background if you want to delve into data compression, where you write your own compression algorithms

On the other hand, the basics of programming only require the basics of math.

Basic math is enough, but good understanding in maths will help a lot.
