Which is better for Unity Game scripts: C# or Javascript? Why?

I think that it is a lil noob question, but still I'm very curious about it.

I don't work with Unity, but I think I read about them not longer supporting JavaScript for projects, which would leave only C#. But maybe I'm misinformed here, could look it up.
