Where exactly does Sololearn lead us?

The opportunity to take a free certificate course in python(a language I'm very familiar with), is great, but is this a stepping stone to freelancer sites, or just to build a reputation in the bb community for recognition by potential employers?

The basis of my question was just that it seems that with no real ad revenue shown, it looks, and feels like an online university. So I was wondering if that's what we do...continue to learn, but with our experience growing so that Sololearn would, at some point, be connected to outside sites, or they might charge for further testing, and mailing out certificates for a fee.

It's not really supposed to lead you anywhere. This site's not here to provide job opportunities, or anything like that. The certificate just means that you passed the course. It's hardly significant to an employer, but it's significant to people in this community. If you're going onto this website/app because you're looking for job opportunities, you won't find them here. People on this site are motivated principally by their desire to learn, and the opportunity to do just that is what sites like these give them. Don't get me wrong, here. There's nothing wrong with using the skills you get from SoloLearn to work freelance. It's just that this site won't do much to help you find the jobs you're looking for.
