Is PHP course in Sololearn enough ?

Would the PHP course in Sololearn help me to create a simple database for a simple project i am working on ?

You don't need to develop a database. I'd choose a already existing database server like mariaDB or MongoDB. Yet PHP will allow you to write a backend for your project that communicates with a database and sends and receives data from your frontend devices.
