Is it posible to host a server on a raspberry pi

i know that it is possible to do on a normal pc, but should i buy a pi to host a website or just pay a third party server

its a bit safer because its seperated from your computer.

bills vs hosting price, you can calculate that on your own.

what about a regular backup ? what happen if a power outage occured ?
