Is C++ in Demand? Can I get a well paying Job?

I recently started learning programming. I am starting from c++. So far I have easily understand the basic concepts of it. Can I get a job by just knowing c++? If not, then what language should I approach for after c++? I know all languages are almost same, just different syntax which I would need to memorize.

YES , you can companies just want that you know the concepts of programming (like data structure and algorithms) they don't care in which language you answer them as long as you are giving the right answer I would never recommend you to change language in the beginning, if you have started learning C++ just go for it. trying to learn a lot of languages is the biggest mistake a beginner would do. so don't worry about it when people say that switch to javascript or python as they are trending right now, just ignore them and stick to learning you language(it would be a mater of days or weeks to switch from one language from other till the time you are knowing basic concepts of one)

C++ is a large part of automation, robotics and embedded systems. I suggest you look at job opportunities near you.
