How do you make the computer need an input?

Please help I'm trying to make a game but I don't now how to cause imput

If you don't know how to take an input, and don't even know how to search on google for a very simple answer, I suspect you can make any game due to your little experience with google, and programming in general, you should probably start the python course all over again before doing so. But here is how:
x = input("Write something: ")
