Javascript, C, C++, C# and Python are all okay for software engineering..

..But start with Javascript or Python because they're so easy to understand unlike C and C++.

After learning JS or Python, move to C then C++.

Learning C and C++ will become easier since you might have had a lot of experience from learning JS or Python.

So learn your CSS,
move to Python or JS,
then C,
and finally C++
